Singapore Petroleum Company Ltd - SPC Mahakam Hilir Pte Ltd. a wholly-owned company of Singapore Petroleum Company Ltd. a member of a public-listed company in the Stock Exchange of Singapore, is seeking experienced and competent staff to join its Exploration & Production team in Jakarta, Indonesia

Accountant
Responsibilities:

• Hands-on daily accounting operations
• Invoice and payments processing, including VAT and withholding tax submissions
• Preparation of journal entries and upload to General Ledger and sub-account ledgers
• Preparation of local accounting and financial reporting schedules, including AFE expenditure reports
• Preparation of cash and bank reconciliation reports
• Preparation of monthly and annual corporate tax computation and filing of tax returns
• Participate in adhoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable University
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an oil and gas exploration and production sector
• Meticulous, able to work independently and a good team player
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility in traveling.
